Job Title: Assistant Manager – Local Purchase
Location: Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced โAssistant Manager โ Local Purchaseโ on immediate basis to join our team.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, chemicals, dyes, and other necessary supplies.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
Prepare Purchase Orders.
Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to optimize cost savings while ensuring quality standards.
Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Ensure that all procured materials meet company and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory in the ERP system.
Qualification / Requirements:
Bachelorโs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
8-10 years of relevant work experience in Local Purchase
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of local market dynamics, supplier networks, and pricing trends in textile-related materials.
