Dear Sir/Madam, I hope you are well. I am writing to express a serious concern regarding the current working conditions at The Entertainer, Dolmen Mall Clifton, which is affecting not just the hygiene of the store, but also the mental well-being of the staff. For the past 10 months, there has been no dedicated cleaning staff at the store, and the responsibility for maintaining cleanliness has been placed on the sales associates. Despite multiple discussions with the management, the issue remains unresolved, leaving employees with no choice but to carry out cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, cleaning spills, and washing mops in the pantry. These tasks, which are clearly outside the scope of our job descriptions, are creating both physical and emotional strain on the staff. It is deeply concerning that this has led to a significant decline in the mental health of many employees. The constant pressure of having to juggle sales duties with cleaning responsibilities has caused considerable stress, affecting both morale and job satisfaction. Many of our colleagues have already resigned due to this mental fatigue and unfair workload, and newer employees are now facing the same exhausting routine. The lack of support and the unfair treatment is taking a toll on our mental stability, which ultimately impacts our ability to perform at our best. As employees of an international brand, we expect a work environment that fosters professionalism, respect, and proper division of responsibilities. Unfortunately, this situation is not only creating a physically taxing atmosphere but also a mentally disturbing one. The ongoing pressure and unreasonable expectations are harming employee self-esteem and contributing to a negative work culture, which no company can afford in the long run. I request that immediate action be taken to address this issue by assigning a dedicated cleaning staff to the store. This would allow the sales associates to focus on their primary duties and restore a healthy, respectful work environment for all employees. Providing adequate support and ensuring that mental health is prioritized will not only improve employee morale but also enhance customer experience and store performance. Please treat this matter with the utmost urgency and confidentiality. I sincerely hope that a swift resolution will be found so that the staff can work in a stress-free and professional environment.
