We are looking for a Lead Reporting and compliance position at Descon.

Location: Lahore

Education Required:

Master’s in finance from a well-reputed institute

Experience Required:

5+ years of experience in financial reporting, compliance, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in preparing analytics and trend analysis to evaluate divisions and business unit performance.
· Prepare and analyze data to support performance improvement initiatives.
· Prepare reports and analytics to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
· Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to support business decision-making.
· Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, including industry-specific laws and standards.
· Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to reporting and compliance
· Collaborate with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory agencies as required
· Identify potential risks related to reporting and compliance and develop mitigation strategies.

Skills Required:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
· In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
· Familiarity with conducting trend analysis, variance analysis and other similar techniques to identify unusual trends
· Proficiency in data analysis tools will be a plus
