TeleTaleem is an education service provider, using technology to address teacher availability and quality gaps in Primary/Elementary schools. Schools in rural and peri-urban Pakistan are operating with less than half of the minimum required number of teachers. TeleTaleem aims to bridge this number and quality gap by providing specialist teachers connected online with schools. Teaching of core subjects is augmented through the teacher training, assessments and feedback. Targeting schools in both private and public sector (where this gap is even higher), TeleTaleem intends to become their first choice for acquisition of quality teaching services.
Established in 2010, TeleTaleem (T2) is a social enterprise, pursuing innovative solutions for improved education service delivery at the grassroots level. TeleTaleem leverages holistic and evidence-based programs to deliver appropriate teaching-learning practices and educational content to any location in Pakistan, supported by an ICT-enabled Advanced Learning Environment.
Till date, TeleTaleem has worked with about 3,950 schools geographically spread over in 60 districts covering all four provinces and AJK. Through multiple interventions, over 6,000 teachers and 300,000 children have
directly benefited from TeleTaleem’s programs.
